I just got a nice DIY idea, but I need opinions.

We are not planning on doing a program because we are having a very short ceremony at Leonard's.

What I was thinking, however, was to have a little folded card that talks about the bridal party, and an 'About Us'. On the front would be:

Irene and Gary
April 22, 2005

And on the back would be:

Thank you for sharing this special day with us.

This would be given out before the ceremony, the same as if it were a program.

What do you all think of this idea? Other ideas are also welcome.

I think that idea sounds great, and is perfect for your ceremony. I've also seen a program type thing like you're talking about, and they had a sheet made up on ivory paper and then put into a scroll with a simple ribbon tied around each one. They were all arranged in a basket and handed out before the ceremony...just an idea if you were looking for others aside from a folded note. I think the note sounds great though!
