Girls Only Question (About our little friends)
Okay the past few months when i have gotten my little friend i have been in pure agony. I use to never know it was coming except by tracking it...now i get really painful and sore boobs, severe cramps on day 1 and 2 (to the point i am leaning over at my desk) and now I started having headaches in the days right before and day 1 and 2.....Has this happened to any of your girls? Have any of your bodies changed like this?
Are headaches a symptom of PMS???
Asprin helps only mildly for the cramps, i am think of going to the doctor maybe they have something to ease it. I missed work yesterday because of this and last month on hy honeymoon i had to stay in bed most of the day....
TIA for any advice....

Re: Girls Only Question (About our little friends)
It is possible to change, actually it happens every 7 years or so, but sometimes it is not noticable. I would go to the doctor though, just to be safe.Feel Better

Re: Girls Only Question (About our little friends)
Headaches are definitely one symptom of PMS.. you could be getting hormonally-related migranes that typically occur a few days before your periodall of the other symptoms you are describing are, unfortunately, perfectly normal PMS symptoms as well. Your body could just be changing and the symptoms are more severe than they ever were. I've noticed a big difference in my cycles from my 20s to my 30s.
Sometimes you just have a few bad cycles and then your body goes back to normal. These things are so weird sometimes
If you are overly concerned about it, it couldn't hurt to speak with your gyno about it.
Feel better !!!
ETA: I've found that Alleve helps a lot with the cramps. Its a muscle relaxer and some gyno's prescribe a stronger dosage of it for severe cramping

Re: Girls Only Question (About our little friends)
I went through something like that... for YEARS I had a really painless period... never once had cramps. Then BOOM, right around 23, I got debilitating cramps. It got so bad that at one point, I passed out at my desk at work from the pain. I went to my ob/gyn and he put me on the pill... no pain after that. I did just go off the pill, and no problems yet... go talk to your ob/gyn about it...

Im in the same situation. If Im not medicated, I cant even get out of bed. Last time it struck at work and I was in the first aid room for more than an hour crying in pain. I had to wait for the medication to kick in. Im not sure what they will prescribe you, but I found out my medication was the same as taking Aleve, just in a higher dosage amount. I have to start taking mine at least 8 hours before AF comes. Good luck!!

The medicine in the Alleve that the dr.'s will give you is Naproxin (might be spelled Naprocin) anyway....the med is my best friend and I would not be able to function in life without it. If you dr wont prescribe it, you run out or just don't have any..Alleve is the best alternative.

Re: Girls Only Question (About our little friends)
I know what you are talking about this happens to me off and on. I have found that watching my caffine intake helps. When I am chugging the coffee and tea I find that that month my craps , backpain, tenderness are all worse. I suggest going to the Dr. just to see if there is any type of relief.
I hope you feel better!!!!ETA: I'm sorry but, everytime I read the topic of this post I keep hearing Al Pacino in 'Scarface' .....

I definitely am on the Aleve boat. I take two, which is close to taking the prescription. I get the same way and noticed it changed about two years ago. I never used to get like this. It all sounds normal, though.

Alleve is not a muscle relaxer. it's a regular non-steroidal, but it's my favorite one.Yeah, I've noticed a lotfo changes in my cycle. I always had really easy perios, few if any cramps, and then recently I started getting really bad cramps and stuff for about a year or a year and a half , feeling weak during that week, etc, now it seems ot be back t the wya it was before. I guess it's normal!

Re: Girls Only Question (About our little friends)
OH yes, the last one, I had the most painful cramps ever. I was in so much pain. Most of the time my breasts are so soar a week before and during. Then about 2-3 days into it I get terrible headaches. As soon as it starts I take 2 Advils 3 times a day, it seems like that helps somewhat.
