Anyone recommend a copier/photo shop for picture cards?
For those who didn't go through their photographer, who did you use to make your picture thank you cards or engagement cards or even announcements? How much did it cost per card and would you recommend them? Decent quality? Do they crop and color-correct? Do they work from proofs or do they need the negatives?
Yikes, sorry for all the questions! If anyone can help that would be great.
Thanks!

Have you tried the department stores. Its a great alternative. JCPenney, Sears, Target, Walmart, even the Picturepeople in the mall!!

We had CVS do our engagement party thank you pictures. When I get home from work I'll scan it for you and you can get an idea. In shoreham they do it in the store and it doesn't have to be sent out. I was really impressed and they cam out pretty nice! It was only about $50.00 for 100.

Modern Age
We just had some high quality film developed there. Very reputable.. They also do head shots and bio cards and stuff like that for actors.. I would think they do what you are looking for- and nice work as well.

Here's the card from our Engagement Thank You, sorry it's crooked. I'm not the best scanner!
They crop and they can do some basic correcting this was done from a photo I gave them although they can do it digitally or from a negative. I would have liked if they had cropped it a little more, but I was in such a rush and thats why I didn't wait for the photographer. They can do it for you in an HOUR!!!
