My husband and I are looking to rent out our apartment - 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, LR, EIK, great storage (walk in closet, crawl space), private entrance, quiet neighborhood. It is located in Huntington Station, on a nice block, approximately 5 minutes south of Huntington Village. It is also about 3 minutes from the train station, and 4 minutes from the Walt Whitman Mall . The apartment spans the 2nd floor of our cape home. We have actually been living it in for 1 year now while we renovate the downstairs - plenty of space for 2 people, lots of room for 1.
We are looking to rent for 12/1, professional/s preferred. $1400 per month. No pets/no smoking please.

I'll keep it in mind, I always seem to know people looking. Is there parking? And how new is the apt? We are looking for a 2 bedroom but its kinda much for us. We live in a complex which allows pets/smoking, off street parking, an EIKwith a full dining room in lindenhurst and the 2 bedrooms are only $1250 including heat. My sister lives in Huntington in a huge 2 bedroom ( full upstairs) with EIK and she pays $1200 all...with a new bathroom and kitchen. BUT..the markets tough so like I said, you should be able to find someone and if I know of anyone responsible etc I will let them know.

Thanks for the info! And thanks for keeping your ears out too! The apt. is spacious, but it is not brand new. It is newly painted and mosly new carpeting, but I am not sure how long ago my grandfather built it. The parking is also not off-street, and I know that is a turn-off for people with nice rides! The heat is included...there is just a seperate meter for the electric, since it's a legal apt, and that bill is very low for us...arond $30 max per month. My hubby and I have been living in it for almost a year now, and we have loved it. It's just very cozy, and plenty of room.

I hope we find good peeps b/c we will be living downstairs!
