Long time Curves members
Ok- So I joined Curves 3 weeks ago and it is really simple and easy. I try to not get caught up in the chatter and really give it my all when I am there. BUT I don't think is really is making any changes. I feel like this is just too easy. I don't have a lot of weight to lose- about 10 pounds and am in pretty good shape thanks to yoga, but I still really need to slim down. I guess my question is- Does this really work???

Re: Long time Curves members
Well - yes and no I think people with a lot of inches to lose it works better for. For me, I was going for a year (my membership just ran out and I didn't renew) I lost only about 6 inches total. That was going 5 days a week, So the loss was not so much - Weight wise I lost about 5 pounds. I liked it because it made me feel like I was actually doing something - Its better than not exercising at all. Now, I have a treadmill and I feel I get alot more of a workout with that.

Re: Long time Curves members
I agree - that it prob works a lot better for women who are pretty heavy and not used to working out at all. I lost a decent amount of inches, but I only lost weight because I was dieting like crazy. I only really saw a change in my body when I started working out with a trainer right before my wedding. My membership is up in Jan and I will not be renewing.
