Single Ladies Only!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't know that traditionally, only single ladies are suppose to be in your wedding party.. Only the Matron of Honor is allowed..

I have 2 married ladies in mine...

oh well! I never heard of it till a friend told me 2 weeks ago..

Does anyone else have married folks in ur bridal party?

Oooops no one told me that! I have one friend who got married this year and another who might have a quickie wedding before mine. They are the same age as me though. oh well too late!

ALL my girls are married! I've never heard you just have to have maids not matrons.

I dont think it is that important anyway, I mean this is your wedding and you should be allowed to share it with people that are close to you... I say: who cares

I have never heard of that one. Only that a single lady is referred to as Maid of Honor and a married lady is Matron of Honor. I've always known single and married women to be in bridal parties

never heard of that..when i asked them they werent married, but by the time i get married one will be married and the other one will be married 8 months after me. oops

Ive heard that having a Married bridemaid in your BP is a sign of longevity and a pregnant BM is a sign of fertility (like good luck signs)... so i heard that they were good things

I dont think it matters, I used to bridal attend at a catering hall and have seen so many married people in a BP together and alone

I don't think it matters and if does oh well because my sister is my MOH with 2 kids and my FSIL is one of my BM's also married and will be 8 months pregnant walking down the aisle in April. LOL

I don't think it matters our friend had 2 or 3 married girls in hers and their 1year was Monday! Also a customer of mine had a pregnant woman in hers and she went early... On the day of the wedding!!! I take that as a Great sign!

I've heard of that tradition, but honestly I wouldn't care too much. Coincidentally, FH and I are the first ones out of our friends and family to get married, so all the BM and Groomsmen are single

Never heard of that, but oh well. Three out of the five are married. I guess it is harder as you get older to create a wedding party made of only single people.
