Re: Budget for FLowers?

you would probably get a better response if you had ranges....
1000-2000
2000-3000
3000-4000
4000-5000
5000-6000
6000-7000
7000-8000

Re: Budget for FLowers?

My budget was $2500 and he is charging me $2500! He basically worked with me on whatever I wanted and made it fit my budget. I am havng:

1 bride bo-k - red roses and red callas
1 moh bo-k - red & white roses
5 bm b-k - white roses
1 jrbm bo-k - like moh but smaller
1 calla groom bout
11 white rose bouts
2 clutches for moms - whatevr flowers they want
2 corsages for grandmas - whatever flowers
2 large red & white rose altar pices
12 pew bows with 1 red & 1 white rose in each
red roses for the top of my cake
1 tossing bo-k (small bride bo-k)
and...
80 centerpieces!! Yup 80! I wanted low silver bowls filled with red roses (no filer) and since I am gavng 20 rectangular tables I want 4 bowls per table. There are bout 2 dozen roses in each bowl! He found a martha stewart pic that I just died when I saw it! He already made me a sample and it looked phenomenal!

I think I did pretty well!!

Good luck!

I said you did excellent for that price and you have 80 CP's. I'd love to see a pic.

Re: Budget for FLowers?

Well, I am not going to lie... when I first saw the martha stewart pic I wasn't going to post because I wanted to be selfish and not share but I am so excited about how pretty it is going to look that I will post the image when I get home tonight!

Re: Budget for FLowers?

I am in the process of checking out florists now. My budget is a max of $2500. I have only checked out flowers by brian so far and they were able to accomodate that. Trina from Floral Expressions is coming to my house tonight - so we'll see how that goes!

Re: Budget for FLowers?

Flowers are beautiful but the die so fast - so I wasn't really willing to spend a lot. Luckily I found Burton's and they do any flower for the same price. I got everything I wanted (and them some) for under $2,000 with tax and delivery!!!

Re: Budget for FLowers?

We decided we had a $3000 budget. The initial estimate for what we wanted was more, but we were able to strike a deal and keep it at $3000. Those calla lillies get expensive quickly (live and learn), but I'm VERY excited for our flowers!!!

Re: Budget for FLowers?

I had originally budgetted $2500 - but after speaking to a firend of mine (who got married 2 years ago), she said she spent about $1,500 - so I'm going to check out her vendor once she gets me the name. I'm not a huge flower person, and I hate the idea of spending an extravagant amount on stuff that will die...
