Anyone know where to get good melting chocolate?

I want to make chocolate covered strawberries. Does anyone know anyplace to get good melting chocolate, or know of anything I can get at the supermarket that will also work? (Like melting chocolate chips or something?) Thanks in advance!

I always get my melting chcolate at Grandma's candy Kitchen in Wantagh. The ones you see in the party store is not bad if you do not have time to go to a speciality store.

i think ghardelli (sp?) now sells metling choclate in bags at the grocery....i could have sworn i saw it the toher day!

I get mine at the party store, but recently I bought it at Michaels.

I dont know if you are in queens but I buy mine at rag shop. They sell the kind esp ment for melting and its really cheap!
They sell dark, milk and all different color kinds also.

There's a Chocolate Shop on Jericho Turnpkie near New Hyde Park....they have a big chocolate sign out front
