please POST/SHARE your E-PARTY pics/ideas!!!

Hi there,

just want to say THANK YOU for all the help in the past.

I"m trying to plan an E-party and was wondering if there are any traditions (cutting a cake??, toasts (who toasts???), etc..

a run down of usual events would be helpful.

Also, I want to make some cute CENTERPIECES and some decoration.
Possibly something like a tribute to me and my FI , photo or something...anyone have any ideas?

Also, would like to have some FAVORS...

For my e-party my fh and I had mini three-tiered wedding cakes made out of white chocolate. They were three dimensional and had a bride and groom on top also made out of white chocolate. My fmil got the mold at Kerri's Candies. We covored them with the iridescent powder and wrapped them in decorative celophane. They came out great, but my fmil said that it was a lot of work. Everyone loved them. For the centerpieces, we just went to Michaels and got fish bowls, but with the outside cut out. We filled that part with garland that we picked up at Michaels and we put a Gerber daisy in each one. We sprinkled rose petals around and had mini pillar candles to surround them. It really looked beautiful. For dessert in addition to other things we had three tiers of cup cakes made at a local bakery. It resembled a wedding cake, just more casual.

We had a casual e-party in my parent's backyard on their deck for relatives. We did a nautical theme, in keeping with the theme for our wedding. We made CPs using small glass bowls that we filled with shells and water and floating candles. We also had decorations like nautical flags, blue and white balloons, shells and small miniature wood pilings. (My parents also found two balloons of Winnie the Pooh and Eyore that we put up in the tent. They have to do with out engagement story.)

Our favors were not nautical related. We bought small candles in ceramic boxes from the Current catelog and we gave out STD magnets.

My FH and I cut our cake together and he made a toast to my parents thanking them for hosting the party.

We just had our E-party last Sunday I will post pics by the end of this week...very busy. We did the tribute thing as a photo montage of me and my FH's baby pics and then our dating pics. We kept it short and put it to music and everyone loved it. Some of our family was even crying. We also got a copy of it on DVD to take home and i watch it all of the time.
For our CP we did small silver vases filled with cream bud rose and we used that as the favor. It looked pretty, without taking away from the tall CPs we want to use for the wedding.
My dad made the toast since my parents hosted the party.
And we also did the Save the Date pens which were such a big hit. We used them to hold the placecards. They were the best!!!!

Here is my review and pictures from my eparty in August. Maybe you can get some ideas from that. I had a blast planning it all and making the CP's with my mom.
