NWR - What are your New Year's Eve plans?

I know this is still over 7 weeks away, but I just wanted to know if anyone had any plans. I am looking for ideas.

Last year we went to a party at Coral House, but this year we want to go somewhere else.

Re: NWR - What are your New Year's Eve plans?

Good question! I always find myself getting annoyed when I try to make plans with other people--either they won't express an opinion on what they want to do or they take forever to get back to me about what they want to do. Last year, FH and I made reservations at the Wine Cellar at the Carltun and just told our friends 'Here's what we're doing. If you want to join us, let me know by ___'

This year, I'm hoping we can go to FFIL's lakehouse upstate. It's so pretty there during winter and we'll be there for Christmas anyway....

Re: NWR - What are your New Year's Eve plans?

I'm doing the Times Square thing this year - figure you can't be a true New Yorker unless you do that at least once, right?

Right?

I think I'm going to track down FSIL's bf (a rookie cop) since he'll be there - Bryan will keep me safe!

They'll I'll be heading back to my bm's apartment in Queens.

Last New Years as a single gal

Debs, I've done it 3 times and we had a blast. But that was way before 9/11. It was so much fun. Make sure you dress warmly.

Re: NWR - What are your New Year's Eve plans?

I've done New Year's Eve at halls on Long Island, and they are always the best. You pay like $75 a ticket, get all dressed up, eat and drink unlimited liquor. It's awesome. We should book a whole hall to ourselves one for that night. Invite all our friends and their significant others, and have a huge LIW New year's eve. That would be a lot of fun!

Re: NWR - What are your New Year's Eve plans?

Evening Ladies
We are staying home we have the kids, so maybe I take a ride up to NH were we have a second home and let them enjoy the snow!!
or maybe we get together with the whole family since we never really celebrated our Engament, and since it is official now about us getting married it would be fun to get everyone together.

Re: NWR - What are your New Year's Eve plans?

New Years has always been this huge production, last year was the first time that it was an intimate evening with our friends and a dinner party, and it was one of the best new years I've had, besides for the one which we spent in Vegas....
