well my wedding is the day after Turkey Day sowe need the weekend before to have the reahearsal...then we get the wed as 1/2 day, thurs (turkey day) off, fri is the wedding, and then for the honeymoon we will take the 5 work days off the week after.
Will probably have to take a full day on Wed so we can go get our liscence though.

Hmm... Our day is a Saturday. So maybe Wednesday to Friday. We aren't going on our HM until June of the following year, so no time off for HM until then.

Re: How many days are you taking off for your wedding & honeymoon?
Well, we're not leaving on the honeymoon until June so for the wedding (Sunday), I'll probably just take off Monday. Maybe Friday too, I'll have to see.Honeymoon: the cruise leaves from Barcelona on Wed evening so we'll leave hear Tuesday morning. I'll probably take off the day after also so we're looking at about 2 weeks and 1 day for the honeymoon.
Total: 2 weeks, 3 days.

Re: How many days are you taking off for your wedding & honeymoon?
I just checked it out in Microsoft Outlook, and it will either be from June 1 - June 16th. Or just go tot he following week. It is a difference of 11 days or 13 days. Now I REALLY cant wait til the HM!

Re: How many days are you taking off for your wedding & honeymoon?
I just started a new job- so do not have mroe than 2 weeks vacay. I negotiated a couple more days though to use post wedding since I cannot fathom not having any other vacay besides the HM.Right now I am planning on taking one day before the wedding- the Fri.. then 2 weeks..
I think I may need that Thurs too..I'll be useless here anyway.

Re: How many days are you taking off for your wedding & honeymoon?
I think 13 days all together.Best part is, I pick up an extra week this year, so I could take off more if I want.

Re: How many days are you taking off for your wedding & honeymoon?
This is one of those times where I am glad to be a school counselor. I head to NY on the last day of school, my shower is that Sunday, I finish meeting with all vendors and complete my DIY projects and then the wedding two weeks later. I do miss out on working summer school though and so I am trying to save that money in addition to saving for the wedding- impossible!!!

Re: How many days are you taking off for your wedding & honeymoon?
Another subject of heated negotiation. We are trying to see how long FI can (or is weilling to get away) -- because clearly the entire financial world as we know it will fail if he leaves his desk.
Anyway, depending on how long he can get (I have like taken two sick days in four years-so I have beaucoup time coming to me) +/- is willing to take, we can arrange HM plans.
