My October 10th wedding Review w/pics

I am sorry this is so late. I can honestly say that I had a beautiful wedding day. It rained early in the morning while I was having my hair and makeup done but then the sun came out and it was beautiful. The day was like I always dreamed of and me and my husband really had a great time. My advice to future brides is to enjoy the day as well as the planning because it goes so quickly. There will be stressful times in the planning process and on the day of not everything goes perfectly but don't let it ruin your day.

I also want to thank all the girls here at LI Weddings. I had so much fun planning with all of you.

Chateau Briand A+
They were wonderful to me and Tommy that day as well as with all the planning. Very nice to deal with and the place looks beautiful. Tom and I did not eat much at all that day but we received many compliments on the food as well as how beautiful the place was. The bridal attendants were very helpful as well. They really did a great job for our wedding and I cannot thank them enough.

Alexis Limos- A
They were great to work with and conveniently located right in Chateau Briand. The cars were in great shape and showed up on time. We hit traffic going to Chateau but that was not there fault. All in all a good company.

Pedestals A+
My flowers passed all my expectations. They did exactly what I asked for and they looked beautiful. I received so many compliments on them. They were great to work with. I used the Howard Beach Location since I lived in Queens and it was more convenient. They also are located in Mineola. They really were amazing.

Arcadia (LI Paramount) A+
This band rocked!!! They sounded just like the original artists and my dance floor was full all night. People were going up and asking for there business cards all night. They really made the reception so much fun. They were just amazing!!

Sherwood Tri-Art (photographer & Video) A+
This photographer came highly recommended by Chateau Briand. I had a regular photographer as well as a photojournalist. Both men were wonderful and so sweet. They showed up to my house right on time and took so many pictures. They were not pushy at all. The place was more expensive than others but this was something were I was ok spending more money on since they are your memories. When I first went into there studio and saw all the pictures on the wall I was amazed. I don't know anything about photography but you can just tell it is quality work. I have not received my proofs back yet but I do not think that I will be disappointed.

Tom was the videographer and he was wonderful as well. They are going to add Cinderella animation to my video since my whole wedding was a Cinderella theme.

Denies Leli (tiara and Veil) A
Denise had a wonderful selection of veils and headpieces and she was really helpful. She worked with you until you had the one you wanted. I really felt like a princess when I put on my tiara and veil.

Thomas Knoell- A
I bought 3 hairpins from him and he matched them right to my tiara. They were made with swarovski crystal and they were just beautiful.
He does such great work and his wife is so sweet also. They are located in manhasset.

The Favor Center A
I bought my favors and invitations from Andy and Roy and they were wonderful. Both men were so sweet and my merchandise always was in perfect condition and I received everything so quickly. I also did the calligraphy from them. They do great work.
They can use some more help in the store since it is only the two of them but otherwise the store is great. They are located in Merrick.

Lillettes Bridal Store (Baldwin) A
This store was so good to me and my Mom.
We worked with Gerry who sold my dress to me and helped me every step of the way.
Gerry is so SWEET and helpful.
My Mom bought her dress from them as well.
The store was great. Paula was our seamstress and she did great work. My dress fit real well. I had a strapless dress and it never felt like it was falling.
I highly recommend this store to anyone.
They have been in business almost 30 years.

Davids Bridal (Carle Place) C
Ny bridesmaids bought there dresses here and I chose this store because they had a line of dresses where the girls can choose from 9 styles. I had a large bridal party (10 girls) and they were all different sizes. I made them choose the dress they liked and I chose the color. The dresses were good quality and very reasonable. They came in real quickly.
The only thing is there service is horrible and they need more help. I did not have the girls dresses altered there we went to someone else. I did not trust them. Otherwise the girls really looked beautiful and were so happy they could choose their style.

The Original Runner Company (NY,NY) A
I had a special aisle runner made for my church. It was hand painted and read -AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
It also had a special backing on the bottom so it would not ride up. My husband wears a prosthetic leg on the right side and I wanted to make sure that he would not trip or anyone else for that matter. They did a beautiful job on the runner and it really added a special touch to the church.

The Royal Brass (Farmingdale)
I had two trumpeteers play at my church. They played a 1/2 an hour before the mass started and after the mass was over. They also played with the vocalist/organist through the mass. They really sounded beautiful!!!!
They made my wedding really look like a fairytale. I though the service was really reasonable as well. I worked with Rodger and he was just GREAT. Really nice person.

Well I hope this review was helpful. I really enjoyed sharing it with all of you. For those future brides out there good luck and have fun.

I hope that you will all be able to view the pictures that I attached. A friend of mine was nice enough to take pictures with her digital camera. She captured many moments at the reception.

Your dress was beautiful!! I also loved all the different BM dresses.

The cake was awesome & the carriage thing was totally cool!!

The carriage was a huge hit. Everyone loved it.
