about how long should I expect to wait for the proof to come in?? I am getting antsy!!

I've ordered a few samples they usually took about 1-2 weeks.

Depends. I ordered a proof (not for a wedding invite) and it was available on line (via a pdf password protected link) in 24 hours.

In high season (May - September) things may take longer but since you apparently ordered this recently I'd give it a few days (longer it the proof is via snail mail).

I had a faxed copy within 3 or 4 days of ordering them. And then the actual invites within 2 or 3 weeks of approving them.

my proof was in the store within a few days and they faxed it to me and then my invites were in the store within 10 days of ordering them

I paid extra to see the proof of the invite before the final order is placed. Based on what I have been reading about girls getting their invites so quickly, Im feeling like this ONE proof is taking too long.
