If you dont' mind me asking, how much did you spend on your invites?

Just curious. Every invitation I check out is over $500 and I am just wondering if I am overspending. Considering when I worked out my budget , we put down $250 for invitations. I guess I was ignorant once again in the financial arena of planning a wedding.

ETA: And also, did you do calligraphy separate from where you got your invites?

The invites were about $275, the lined envelopes were $25 more/25 invites. My dad did the calligraphy.

i'm a rare case but i'm not spending anything on my invites. FH's sister is a graphic designer and is desgining them and we also know a printer so he's printing them for free. all we have to pay for is postage
