maggie sottero dresses
Does anyone know around what these retail for??I am obsessed with her stuff and I almost positive I will wind up with one of hers. I found online prices that were actually really reasonable (8-1200), but I was wondering what they were like in the stores.
Here is one that i am in LOVE with.

Re: maggie sottero dresses
You seem to be on target with the price. The only one I looked at was the 'Olympia' and Macys Bridal had it for 950. I know BrideSave has all of the Maggie's for good prices too!

Re: maggie sottero dresses
I fell in love with one too. The price at the salon was $950 (Lillette's). I was just about to order it but the same day I signed on here and read a post about Burton's. I called them and their price on the same dress was less that $540. Oh, and their alterations are capped... no charge for the bodice (but it's corset back anyway). It's not just the price of the dress. It's also the quality and price of the alterations. One of my friends got a great deal on a dress but she had to pay so much to get it altered. If your measurements are 'in proportion' (whatever that means) you'll need less alterations if they are not just factor in more alterations

RK Bridal in Manhattan has good prices on Maggies, too. My dress (which I bought at Lillette's) is $100 cheaper at RK.

Where did you go in Flushing!?!?!?!
I got my Maggie at Flowerama in Glendale for $500 less than it was at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa.

Wow, that's a beautiful dress... very romantic. It's called 'Chantilly Button', and they have it for $1220 @ Bride Save.I don't think that you can go wrong with Maggie Sottero. They are elegant, beautiful & very flattering. I loved it!
(See my album for pics of my 'Olympia' dress.)

Re: maggie sottero dresses
I have a question.....If you order your dress from Netbride, Bridesave, etc., where do you get it altered? I know a seamstress, but where? If I got my dress online and brought it to a seamstress, would they get mad at you or not do that good of a job if you brought it to a bridal store for the seamstress????

I agree!! I ordered my Maggie at Netbride and paid over $400
less than even RKbridal who does discount. I am sure it would have been even more at another bridal salon. Since your dress is a corset style it really only needs a hem and maybe cups to alter it to your size. Make sure you try it on at a salon and then find out what size you tried on. That helped me figure out sizing.

I don't think it will be a problem. As long as you are paying this person for alterations, they are usually happy. Just make sure it is someone who specializes in WEDDING GOWNS and try to contact them privately, not through a salon. I found a seamstress through a person at work. Her mom works at a salon but is doing mine on the side.

Re: maggie sottero dresses
I came very close to getting that dress - it's so flattering on!RK Bridal and Bridesave have it for the lowest price available - I can't remember it though. It's around 1k.
I tried it on at Macys for 400 dollars more - ridiculous.
If you are willing to go into the city, go to RK. Thy are great, and have capped alteration prices.
If you order it from Bridesave you will have to find your own seamstress to do alterations - the ones at RK are very good.
Good Luck!!

I cant wait to try maggie dresses on, they are just so pretty. Thanks for the info gals.. I dont think Ill need a hem because I am almost 5'8 so as long as the bodice fits I should be golden ordering it online.
How do they come though.. I would be afraid theyd wrinkle during shipping or something
