Happy and really Worried at the same time!

So I ordered my dress on 11-7... When I ordered it I asked the woman around how long does it take. So she told me about 4 months usually. Estelle's called me Today to say that my dress is in!?!?!?!?!?! That's like a week and a half! Has this happened to anyone else? I'm a little worried about this... I have the rest of the money (by a miracle) that's not what I am worried about... How the hell did it come in so fast! I have only heard good things about their bridal department but of course never asked how long it took to get the dresses.... But I am really worried that there is going to be something really wrong with the dress!!! Help please I need some sanity!

Calm down!! go as soon as you can and make sure they arent trying to give you the sample!! make sure its the right dress and right size. Maybe someone else had ordered the exact same dress and canceled?? or maybe your just really lucky!!!
Honestly even at the worse case its the wrong dress.. they can re-order and you still have plenty of time to get the right one in!

I didn't think of someone cancelling! That helps thanks Soon2b!!! I did think of the just my luck thing.... especially since I have to store it and didn't figure out where yet and the money was supposed to go to something else and.... lol It better not be the one I tried on that was a size too small!!!

I know how you feel I have had to store mine myself for like over 6 months now!!! mine came in a little early as well!!!

I wish Estelles was THAT on top of my BM dresses! we ordered them in the beginning of August, and now theyre telling me they wont be in until January!!!! (they were supposed to be in in October!). Ok, sorry for the vent........ SOOO happy that you will have it in you possesion already!

I had ordered my first dress from Estelle's which came in within in 2 weeks, not 3 - 4 months like I was told. I went to try on and pick up with my Mom, sister and godmother. When I got home, there was much beading missing off the dress and pulls all over the place. Of course, these were not seen by any of us while I had the dress on. I did end up getting my money back (huge fight there).
I don't want to scare you - I just want you to double and triple check that dress while it is on you and then again AFTER they put it in the bag, before you pay for it!! My dress was a size 12 so I was told it was not a size to be specially made - but it still bothered me a bit to know how fast it came in.

same thing happened with me and davids. they said 6 months and i got it in like 3 weeks!!!

that's okay though!!! i love having it here in my house with me

Don't worry!!!!!! You could just be one of the lucky ones..... Just go and check it out to make sure that it is the one you ordered... just like the other ladies here are telling you.... Hope all is well.... Let us know how it works out for you....

Thanks for all the support Ladies!!! And thank you very much for the heads up Donna!!! I will be looking at it tomorrow... Hopefully all will be well if not we have plenty of time for them to get it right. I'll let you know tomorrow!
