my review of jericho terrace wedding 11/20/04

i was very shocked to see the banquet manager robert that i was so impressed by that i booked at chateau briand at jericho terrace. i knew he left chateau before we had our wedding and i was so upset. he is amazing and now he is the general manager of jericho terrace.

okay lets get down to business ... the cocktail the bar was fully stocked with all the top shelf liquors that we all drink and they knew how to make apple martinis and cosmos. there was plenty of food at the cocktail hour and the food was very good.

they started with a stomboli on a bed of mesclun greens which was very good.

the second course was penne alla vodka and it was also good.

there was an intermezzo of lemon sorbet in an frozen lemon it was well received lots of people seemed to enjoy it although i didnt eat because i dont like lemon lol.

the choices for main choice were filet mignon with a mushroom cap and chicken breast with eggplant in a sherry wine sauce. salmon in a lemon dill sauce,a vegatable melady for a vegetarian option and roasted li duckling. i had the duck which was excellent and my dh has the filet mignon which was cooked to his liking and was juicy and well seasoned.

the wait staff is amazing here robert should be very proud of his staff they are amazing attendant polite and professional.

the viennese was good although i think there could have been a few more options.

i think you will be very happy and have nothing to worry about if you are a jericho terrace bride breath easy girls you made a great choice and your in roberts hands and he is amazing!!!!!!

any other info needed please fm me. this bride used pedestals and they did a great job her flowers simple and elegant and they did an amazing job. the dj was good too but im not sure who they were. her favors were lenox dipping bowls for the butterfly meadow collection there pretty and useful.

Finally! Someone knows Robert! He's my banquet manager, but I don't know anyone else who has him. That is such good news; we definitely liked him a lot when we booked there. He probably left for a promotion; he's actually the general manager of Jericho Terrace, not just a bm.

Thank you SO much for posting this! I don't have Robert, but if he is general manger there, then I know all will be great. So far, I am happy with JT and I have seen nothing but rave reviews, especially about the wait staff. Their new website is AWESOME and much more informative! I am in the Skylight Room which is very pretty and perfect for a day wedding. Thanks again!

hi ladies what room do you all have a JT. We have the skylight room, its funny my FH went yesterday to make a payment and was gonna switch the room to DOME, and he came back saying he loves the other room better now. At first he didn't even like it. HE DRIVES ME CRAZY. When I first saw JT I loved it and he didn't like anything about it. The other night he told me that he really is looking foward to it. He said the place has really grown on him. TOLD YA SO!!!

My reception is in the penthouse room
