Ok I need your opinions.. I have been to the favor store like 100 times and could never find anything I liked. I finally decided on a cookie jar with a heart shaped cookie cutter and maybe some heart sugar cookies inside.

My fh isnt into this stuff and when I ran the idea past him he said he didnt care as long as I was happy.

Well tonight he confessed he isnt thrilled with the idea.. and if thats what I really want then we should do it but he wanted me to explore some other options first...

Well I was racking my brain all night and the only thing I can think of that he also likes is a pair of wine glasses per couple and a mini bottle of wine.. what do u girls think is that cheesy??

I don't think it's cheesy at all! My only concern would be the wine glasses breaking somehow on people's way home. Another (less breakable) option would be to get each couple a set of wine charms and maybe a bottle of wine?

If it makes you feel better, I wanted to do a cookie jar as a favor too--the mason jar kind with ingredients inside and a heart shaped cookie cutter. My FH shot it down too. What's up with these guys being so anti-cookie?

i don't think it's cheesy at all, i have the same problem with favors, i don't like very much!! you could also have the glasses engraved with your names and wedding date and fill them with candy, maybe personalized candy hearts?!

Well the wine glasses would actually be wrapped up in a box and then wrapped with wrapping paper and the almonds on top.. and the wine bottle would be seperate.. maybe in a little wine organza bag.

OMG--that's what my FH said too!! He said he didn't really think it was appropriate for a black tie wedding. Whatever dude!

I'm on a budget so I'm toying with the idea of downscaling my centerpieces a little and enhancing them with these....then buying some flowers from the price club (they're gorgeous there and CHEAP) and putting them around my raised centerpieces.

Or filling them with custom colored M&Ms and putting in some silk flowers from Michaels

It makes it harder b/c all the good stuff has been done already!!! there have been soooooo many weddings, eparties, and sweet 16s in the last 2 years that we have seen it all!

I really liked your cookie jar idea!!! What is with these men!?! Mine thinks he can tell me what kind of wedding gown to get! I went shopping today and he had all of these questions!

I was like 'ummm, that is the one thing where you have absolutely no say or input - sorry!!!'



I went to a wedding recently where they gave out large Yankee Candles to each guest. I thought that was different.

its not cheesey...i wouldnt worry yourself sick over favors..most of them collect dust at peoples houses...honestly its the last thing im gonna spend way too much money and time on!
