Repost from BHB: HELP Need creative Brides!!!

In my hotel where I am getting married they put up this lattice screen behind the bride and groom to hide the doors behind it but I dont think it goes with the decor and ambiance. I dont want the doors to be right behind me and I am not sure if I can completely move the table to another area of the room but if not I want another option. Please let me know of any ideas you have.

By the way I have no clue how to really repost it so i just typed it again.

Do an ARCH! Flowers will look gorgeous- here's some ideas, they're shown outdoors but you get the idea.

I am already getting an arch....not as many flowers as that but it might look silly to see doors in the middle dont you think?

Would it be really expensive for you to either get some kind of fabric (from Michael's or elsewhere) in a color that coordinates with your theme and maybe drape it over the panels? Or you could see if there are inexpensive screens for sale somewhere and ask if you can use those instead of the lattice ones?

You could do an arch with fabric draped in the middle of it.

i think jennie nailed it - my best friend is an interior designer and is always shouting that people don't use fabric enough to conceal, decorate, drape, etc...

Bring a creative friend with you, buy some cheap fabric to start with, and then just play - that sounds like so much fun!!!!!

this is the first suggestion that i thought of
