Girls doing wine favors UPDATED

anyone using these bags? also are you doing almonds with it? and if so how are you putting the 2 together??

Well I finally put the order in on the stoppers and told my fmil what we decided to do as the favor.. she kinda flipped out that we were going to have the almonds and is making a big deal of it so I am bumping for more suggestions

You know I still haven't decided EXACTLY what I'm doing, but...what about making a little organza bag for the almonds and tying it with a bow to the outside of the wine bag?

Thats a cute idea!! Do you think it will be to many bags though? ( I also have the wine stopper)

I haven't been able to figure out how we're going to work everything--fears of the wine bottle being too bulky, etc. but I was going to put the wine stopper in a favor box on the table and maybe use the wine bottles as escort cards (to let people know it's one per couple). I agree it might be too many bags unless you have some way of attaching the wine stopper by itself though--like a little charm to the ribbon? I don't know if you want to do that though. It might not look as good or it could get damaged.

I am doing wine bottles in an organza bag. I decided not to do almonds bc I wasn't sure I would like them attached.

I am have the hall or valets hand out chocolate truffles in a box as they walk out with an attachment that says sweet dreams. You can do the same with a container of almonds. Jean M has so many containers with lables that you can put on the tables or do with as you wish...

just a thought!

i am doing almonds in addition to my olive oil favor - but I have no intention of putting the two together!!

I wa thinking of putting all the almonds in a nice basket with a sign 'please take one...' then, it's like an extra favor instead of one lump of a favor.

Just a suggestion...

I got a little upset today as it was b/c she made a face when I told her what we were doing as a favor. Thank goodness one of her friends stopped by right before she had the chance to say anything else about it

What about putting the almonds loose in with the stopper. That might look cute.
