QOTD: After some recent posts of girls deciding on a couple of dresses, I was wondering...what dress was your second choice?

There were about four in the final running for me. I tend to like lace and thought I would go very princessy and poufy but I am petitie and it was so overpowering. When I get home I will see if I have the pics to post.

oh geeze, it's been so long (i picked my dress out last January). There was one other though... I believe it had spaghetti straps (I was orginially dead set against strapless for some reason). It was a-line, and i think it had that meshy material over it, and then had more beadwork. I think.

We kept going back and forth between those two, even though I knew that the second I tried on my dress (the first one I tried on) that it was the one.

Believe it or not- NOTHING. This was the only dress I found and fell in love with. Now, after seeing a lot of dresses from girls that post, I would have to say that I really like Reem Acra gowns. They look stunning!!

Thanks it was, but it was a little overpriced, even with bargaining with them it still was....it's Anne Barge...stunning, but it was a 'different' dress, so is mine now, but more ppl would get my dress now than that one, the pleats were out of control on that dress..it was stunning though...I loved it

I don't know if this counts but I wish I would have tried on Maggie Sottero's Grace. Everytime I look at that dress, I want it. I console myself with thinking it would have looked horrible on me but I will never know since I didn't try it on!

This is my dress. NOTHING came even close to being second. I am soooo picky and didn't have an infinite budget. I would barely get some dresses on and knew... no way. As soon as I looked at myself in the mirror I knew this was the one. I also jokingly asked God to give me a sign (even though I was 99% sure) and he literally did... as I was driving to my next appointment I saw a sign for a church and it had the word 'Grace' on it. OK, cue 'Twilight Zone' music...

Just don't second guess yourself... I drove myself crazy with that over my photographer... wish I looked at Duet.

I actually didn't have a second choice. But I am sure if I went shopping now, I'd find a few that I'd fall in love with!

Re: QOTD: After some recent posts of girls deciding on a couple of dresses, I was wondering...what dress was your second choice?

I will post pic when I get home but for me..

I was deciding between two other Reem's.. Mystical and Good Luck

But initially, it was a Monique Lhullier- it was a princess cut stapless plain dress, then I would do the cap sleeve jacket with a satin belt and a vintage broach. It was a straight line- and I nixed it cause of that.. but I still want it-- maybe in another color!!

Ok-- well, it was the dress I ordered.. but never really wanted... So I guess TECHNICALLY- it's #2.. but, let's just call it in my top 5.. I like it least out of all those dresses I mentioned- at least in retrospect.
