Hve you honeymooned in Puerto Rico or Aruba? Come on in . . . Need Advice

We have booked our HM!! We're spending a week in Puerto Rico, and a week in Aruba. So, my questions are:

For Puerto Rico honeymooners, where did you stay? What do you think of the Marriot Stellaris Resort (we're booked there, b/c I've heard good reviews, but can change if need be)? What are some fun things to do? What clubs should we go to? Where should we adventure out to?

For Aruba honeymooners, what did you do? What clubs should we go to? Where should we adventure out to?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! TIA!!

Hi we went to Aruba . Definitely go on the Kukoo Kunuku party bust. It was loads of fun. They take pick you up at your htoel and take you to a lighthouse for a champagne toast and then you go to eat somewhere then the bus that looks like a colorful bus from the partridge family takes you to a few local bars. you can drink on the bus and they play music and you shake maracas its a blast!!! The tatoo part boat was also a balst. Try to go on ladies night thought. My friend went on a regular nihg tand didn't have a good time.

I didn't honeymoon there but we went to Aruba last year and ended up buying a timeshare because we loved it so much!

kukko kanuku was my favorite part! you will have a great time. we didn't go to clubs but the casino's are fun and the Marriott has a restaurant on the beach that is good. El Gaucho is a great steak place. have a great time~

I havnet honeymooned in PR but I've been there many times. I stayed at the Marriott and its by far one of my favorite hotels. The pool is great, but the ocean can be a little rough being that your staying on the atlantic ocean side of the island. The hotel has a great bar and it does get packed every night. The El San Juan has 2 clubs that are really good, and if you want to go to a club outside of a hotel try Egypto. Most hotels offers casinos but they arent huge. If you want to do some sightseeing and history go into old San Juan, there are a lot of little boutiques in the square, go to El Morro, the fort of San Cristobal, El Yunque, and the bacardi factory. Your hotel can arrange tours for you, best to take them so you dont have to get a taxi.

I wouldnt recommend renting a car there because the drivers tend to be very aggressive.

Above all else, sit out in the sun and drink some pina coladas

I havent been to PR in ages, but we are now considering it since we cant go to Hawaii. Here's some stuff that is MANDATORY to do in PR:

Old San Juan (wear comfortable shoes, its a lot of walking). There's a hard rock cafe there, but your better off with the local resaurants. Also there's A LOT of shopping, so bring plenty of money!!

El Yunque rainforest: This place is amazing. Also wear comfortable shoes because the hike back is all uphill. But they have beautiful waterfalls that you can swim in.

Bacardi factory: A must do in PR. Although you cant get drunk there anymore, its a great 1/2 day excursion. Love the gift shop !!

Isla Culebra: Island right off PR. Very beautiful!!

Nightlife is all around the place. Your major resorts and casinos usually have nightclubs.
