I got mine the Zagat's guide to NYC restaurants (she and her husband go into dinner in the city all the time). There is also a Zagat's guide to Long Island restaurants. Last year I got her a nice bottle of wine.

bottle of champage....oh, check out www.qvc.com, they sell kansas city steaks in different packages anywhere from about $35 and up......a gift certificate from the nail or hair salon she uses....

I always feel safe going for those nice pen sets from Office Depot. My boss knows I cant afford much more than that

I went to Lord & Taylor and bought my boss and another lady in the office beautiful X-Mas ornaments. They have so many different kinds--and w/ a 20% coupon its way under $20--

OR

a nice gift basket from Godiva....maybe throw some coffee or cocoa or hot chocolate packets w/ a nice mug! And a chocolate bar or two......to go w/ it
