Things people say....

... I had read on message boards some of the very strange things that well meaning people say to pregnant women. I found myself wondering who the heck are those people? Well, I've now learned that I know some of them.

For reference, I am 24 weeks pregnant.

1) A classmate who I don't know very well looks at my large belly and says, ooh when is your due date? I say its at the end of March and she looks down and my belly, looks surprised and replies, 'Oh, so you actually still have a while to go.' Errr yeah, I'm just huge eh?

2) A coworker passes me in the hall, I say hello, she says, 'Wow, you are already starting to walk funny.' Gee, thanks, thats information I really wanted to know.

I have had that too!

One stood next to me side ways and said oh we are now the same weight I was like but mine is not fat so what's your excuse Then my boss told me if I am this big now how will I make it 9 months because she never saw someone carry so large. Never did she take into account some of the difficulties that she knows about


Pregnancy= stupide people saying even dumber things to you!
