Are you letting Dad pick Father/Daugher dance song?

I just started looking into song for our dance but was wondering if any of you let your dad pick the song instead of you picking it. Since he has had no input into the wedding plans (except for openning up the checkbook) love you dad!....I though this would be special to him...

I suggested a song but asked him if he had another idea he wanted to go with. Fortunately he liked the song I picked.

My dad doesn't know the song we're dancing to. It's actually sentimental to us, and I want to actually keep one wedding secret that day. I think he's gonna be balling....

My dad was so funny. I asked him what song he wanted to dance to at the wedding with me. He said, 'I like 'The Twist.'' I said, 'No, Dad, the father/daughter dance.' He was like, 'Oooohhh' then told me to give him suggestions. We settled on 'You Raise Me Up' by Josh Grobin.

I hadn't even thought of asking my Dad, and just assumed we would be dancing to 'daddys little girl'. One day I went over to his house and he pulled out of his pocket the lyrics to 'sunshine of my life' by Stevie Wonder and asked if we could dance to it. So thats what we'll be doing

When I was choosing mine, the only request my Dad had was nothing that was going to make him cry.

So I picked 'You'll Be In My Heart' - Phil Collins and my Dad liked it too.

I would let your dad pick- but allow yourself veto rights..

My dad suggested a song to me- and we looked up the words- INAPPROPRIATE! I mean, it wasn't too bad-- but, just not right for father/daughter

I let my dad pick. We wound up dancing to Daddy's Little Girl because he realy wanted to dance to a waltz.

I originally wanted Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong, but when I told my mom she almost fainted!

She said my dad has wanted Daddy's Little Girl since I was born, so How could I say no to that!

Plus, I really am Daddy's Little Girl anyway!

Our Father/Daughter is 'My Girl' by Temptations. I choose it because it's a slow song and he can dance to that. He's not into music so I had to choose something slow.

I couldn't decide so I told my dad to pick. It was special because he really didn't help much with the wedding (ie, flowers, dresse...etc.) so he thought it was really nice that I didn't pick it and he did.

I thought I was SUPPOSED to let him pick- then my mom and my Aunts jumped down my throat like what the hell was I thinking ?
But I really have no idea. - I don't like Daddy's Little Girl at all........But I don't really know what else to use........Maybe 'Unforgetable' by Natalie and Nat King Cole........

My dad is sooo funny...first off he 'assumed' that he'd be picking the song...and I guess we all know what he picked.....

'you know...the typical one...the one....la la la...oh...uh...umm....Daddy's Little Girl.'

Oh heck...not my favorite but if it makes him happy!
