NWR: JUST GOT OUT OF JURY DUTY, NOW I HAVE THE WHOLE DAY OFF!!

Whoohoooo. I went to jury duty this morning, and before it officially started, this guy announces, 'If you are not a U.S. Citizen, if you do not live in Nassau County, if you have been convicted of a felony, or if you are student with classes today, go into room 1.' So, since I have been convicted of a few felonies, I..... Oh wait a second... Haha, seriously... I have my last class today, and yeah, the class is at 6:40 PM, but of course I got up... And I got a postponement for six more months! Of course the thought of going back to work today did not even enter my mind... So now the day is mine!

I had jury duty for 4 days. I got selected as an alternate so i doidn't do much but most of the days the judge released us earlyt. I loved it!!! One day we sat in the courtroom for all of 5 minutes then he sent us home. I went home and went back to sleep. Don't you just love jury duty?

Man, I wish I was you. Isn't it crazy how the day flies by when you are at home, and slow as a turtle when ur at work!

lol - Awsome!

I got jury duty once - so i switched my citizenship to Virginia

actually, i did that since car insurance was cheaper, and since I got the notice like 2 days before i was going back to school - but getting out of jury duty was an added bonus

Be careful ladies. If they send you home for good you can go back to work but if they just send you home for the day and you still have to report the next day, you can't go into work.
