Where is the best place, yet reasonable, to get BM dresses?

Where is the best place, yet reasonable, to get BM dresses?

I have been looking around and even did a search on this board. Here is the thing...I want to order the dresses from a place that is:
(1) affordable
(2) good customer service...I have heard bad things about certain bridal stores. I don't want any place that is going to ignore my girls, make them cry, tell them they are fat, order the dress in a size 20 when they are a size 10 so they can make more $$$ on alterations
(3) is in the western suffolk or central or eastern nassau area.

The place I am getting my gown is wonderful, but they are very far for everyone to shlep. I know I have a while, but would like to get ideas. You know me...always the early bird!

i don't know anything about the place, but everyone on hear talks about Burton's, i got all our stuff at Lillette's in Baldwin, they are really great there!

I got my dress & BM dresses at The Bridal Garden in Bethpage...They have been wonderful & the prices are incredible...I have dealt with them in the past & have not one complaint...If you go there, ask for Collette

Wherever you find your dress, get the style number and call Burtons in Melville. They've got the best prices most times, but not always the best selection.

Sorry I don't have a recommendation for LI, but RK Bridal in the city has great prices and they carry tons of designers. My girls ordered their dresses their and we saved over $80 compared to the price at other stores. They measured themselves and I went to the store to order them. All the girls were out of state so they tried on the dresses at their local stores. Also, if you see the dress somewhere else you can order through fax from RK and you don't even have to go there. Just throwing ideas out there.

I agree with Laura, I found my dresses and Burton's gave me the best price!! Service pretty ok, but the place is small...well worth the discounted price!!

I am using Angel Bridals in East Islip, and I love all the girls that work therr. The customer service is awesome because it is a smaller shop. Also they dont carry every dress but can order almost any dress.

netbride.com. They beat all prices of bridal stores. My flower girl dress is like $130 but they sell it for $83 with $10 shipping. Now thats a deal

Thanks so much, I will keep these places in mind. I have heard a lot of horror stories about some places, and I am truely grateful for your suggestions of places that are not going to give me more stress!
