QOTD: What is your favorite holiday song?

Well, being 'Queen of the 80's' I've always loved Band Aid's 'Do They Know It's Christmas' (OMG, it's been 20 years since I was a freshman in high school

) and U2's 'Christmas Baby Please come Home' cause FH travels a lot.

How about you ladies?

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree
Santa Baby (I think that's the name of it)
O Holy Night
Do they know it's Christmas Time

I love all the depressing classic ones: White Christmas, I'll be home for Christmas, etc...

And the hymns always make me feel warm, despite my aversion to organized religion.

Guilty Pleasure: The Mariah Carey overplayed one. normally, I am not a fan, but that one really gets me - I can't remember the name 'We're singing Deck the halls, but it's not like Christmas at all...' I want to dance when i hear it!

No surprise here-- The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole. Could listen to it all year....

other runners up are the 'classics' by Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, and good old Frank Sinatra!

I am also a big fan of 'O Holy Night' as a hymn.

That's a good one!! I love Barenaked Ladies. My two favorites are probably O Holy Night and Jingle Bell Rock. I honestly love all Christmas music though and start playing it well before Thanksgiving!

Drummer Boy and O Christmas Tree are two favorites. I like any x-mas songs sung by Sinatra, Elvis, Amy Grant or Karen Carpenter too.

It's sort of cheesy but I really like 'Merry Christmas' by The Waitresses--you know that song they always play on z100 about the girl who runs into a guy at the supermarket who has been asking her out all year or something like that.
