I found a great Makeup/Hair person

Hi,

I found a great Makeup Hair person on the island. She does a lot of weddings but she has primarily been doing it within the Indian community. So a lot of people do not know of her. She travels on LI. I went in today to meet with her. Although I did not have a trial, I saw her working on a few customers. She is quite good and her prices are very reasonable.

I wanted to have a trial when I had something to do afterwards. I didn't want to look pretty and have nowhere to go :)

If anyone wants her information, forum mail me. I don't want her getting innundated.

I am not sure why I am being defensive. Nonethless, I never expected people to be nasty. Anyways, in my culture, it is traditional for people to go to church and have a formal engagement. So there is an engagement typically at one side's church and a wedding at the other side's church.

So we are having an engagement at my church and the wedding at his church. So basically 2 receptions.

Others cultures have traditions that are outside your own and may not follow what is typically considered norm in yours.

If you say she is as good as she is, pass along LIW's contact information and have her talk to Ron and Liz about becoming a legitimate vendor.

So sorry that you were called a

, I did a search of your posts and know you are a legitimate bride.

The reason some people thought you were a fake is that many times people who are not paying vendors on the site will register as a bride to be and solicit business. It's annoying to everyone when someone posts about some vendor and when you look at their bio, they are usually brand new with strange engagement/wedding dates.

If you wonder why I ask.. I choose not to offend other religions although I know I have a tendency to get overzealous. So I'd like to apologize up front for any offense I cause.

I myself was raised pentecostal but no longer consider myself as one.

okay i know im late with this post, but i didnt have internet for 3 weeks. I was shocked and upset to read that so many of you just assumed that riniko is a fake.

through this forum, i learned that riniko, like me is an indian bride. we have been corresponding over email/FM, sharing ideas and getting opinions from one another, and i can tell you FOR SURE she is a REAL BRIDE!!!! Nor does she have any personal ties with any vendor--she was simply trying to help brides out by passing on some information that she thought was worthwhile.

So before any of you jump the gun and start calling people fakes, please do your research before you hurt other people's feelings. thanks.
