After wedding weight gain...

After wedding weight gain...

Hi!
They say after you get married or once you are in a serious relationship, you tend to gain weight.
I hung out with a few friends this weekend that I haven't seen in awhile and noticed that one couple (they are not married, but are pretty serious w/ each other) gained weight. They were both really skinny in their earlier stages of dating and 1 year later..I couldn't believe how much weight they both put on. And, another couple got married early Oct. They were both pretty slim, but I also couldn't believe how much weight she put on especially..

I am just curious to see how many feel or know that they have gained weight post marriage or after being with someone for so long..

I put on about 10 pounds since my wedding and after recently hitting a certain number on the scale - I decided to change my ways a bit and start exercising, so i recently lost about 5 so far......

I think the weight gain came from getting comfortable with each other, cooking yummy meals and we have had parties every weekend for the past 2 months - so that hasn't helped either

i gained about 7 pounds after the wedding. i finally joined ww at the end of oct to lose it. so far i've lost 7.5 pounds. so i'm glad to be back to my wedding weight.

The last week or so before the wedding I lost about 8lbs. I gained those pounds back but have maintained my basic weight.

I gained 6 lbs since the wedding!!

I have been trying to lose it for the past three weeks - nothing. So I am giving up until Jan 1.

I gained 6lbs on the honeymoon

Now I am up 10lbs altogether. In july I was 171.

I gain 8 lbs since the wedding and I feel huge. I was a little to skinny for my frame at my wedding so my BMs say I look healthy but I feel like a house. After the holidays it is back to the gym with a vengeance.
