Am I the only one who has absolutely nothing to do on New Year's eve

It never fails, I always end up staying home for new year's. Dh always has to work and won't be home till 11:30PM. He does make it home in time before the ball drops.

I don't want to pay $150 to go to a party or club, but it would be nice to have something inexpensive to do.

Any ideas

You could dress yourself up for your dh for when he comes home. and u could have your own little party

Okay .. I can't say I have 'absolutely nothing' to do on New Years Eve .. because I will be stuck working .. past midnight!

I'd much rather be stuck doing 'absolutely nothing' at home with hubby, kitty & birdie.

Maybe you can find something close to his job so he can meet up with you after he gets out???

Otherwise .. keep busy with setting up your own little party for when he gets home .. make little appetizers .. maybe throw some decorations up .. make it a surprise for him, and an activity for you!

I am going to have girls night with my friend Tina. We are doing mani's pedi's and movies.

Both of our men are far away from us right now. Mine in Iraq and hers is off chasing his dreams in Germany.

So we are going to sulk together!

There has to be a bar/club that are nice in Queens or LI? That are not too expensive. After all, we won't be leaving the house till after midnight.

im sure there is something going on in bayside or astoria you can check in to the bars there. im not doing anything either my dh is working so ill be alone. i thinking about going to a house party but not sure yet
