riviera or timber point?
I need help! I have to decide whether to have my wedding at the Riviera or at Timber Point. I already have a date held for me at the Riviera, but my sister got married there and I'd like something different. However the Riviera is giivng me an amazing deal and I know it is a grat place. I went to look at Timber Point and it is beautiful, but it is further away and I don't know anyone who has gotten married there, so I don't know what to expect. Any advice is welcome! -- Lauren

We had such a fantastic time at the Riviera and guests are still raving. I'd say you can't go wrong there. If you have your heart set on a different place from your sister's wedding search the review board for Timber point.

Re: riviera or timber point?
I got married at Timber Point in November--there are several other Timber Point brides on here, who all gave it good reviews. That said, the two places seem to be very different. Timber Point is beautiful, an old mansion on the water, one wedding at a time in a country club setting. Everything was wonderful and it was the perfect place for me--I would call it understated elegance. The food is wonderful--it is catered by Lessing's, that does several locations including the Bourne Mansion. Prices vary by date, but I found it to be a great price for what we got. Centerpieces and cake were included, and the cake was by Audrey's! Any questions FM me.

I agree with Beth....Timber Point was great and I loved the one wedding at a time and the fact that no one had heard of it before....I felt I had found my diamond in the rough so to speak....
I'll rave till I'm blue in the face...it was great..food, service, location....I was just upset because it had rained that day and I couldn't get outside pics like some of the other girls did which came out beautifully!!!
