...condensed soup or onion mix?
If my DH knows it's in there, he probably won't eat it. Such a pain!!!

Re: Any Crock pot recipes that don't require...
hi! I have a great sauerbraten recipe 2 cups dry red white wine 2 cups red wine vinegar 2 cups water 2 lrg onions sliced 2 lrg carrots sliced 6 peppercorns 6 whole cloves 4 bay leaves 1/4 cup sugar 1tsp mustard seed 1Tbs dried parsley flakes 2tsp salt 5lbs beef top round 4 Tbs flour, divided 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 2Tbs oil 2Tbs sugar--(this is for the gravy the day you cook it) 1/3 cup gingersnap crumbs
--in a saucepan over high heat, stir together wine, vinegar, water, onions, carrots, peppercorns, cloves, bay leaves, sugar, mustard seed, parsley and salt bring to a boil then reduce to medium heat and cook for 15mins......cool completely and pour over meat. throw in the fridge for at least 2 days (flip meat over every day) ---remove meat from marinade;throw out vegetables, but reserve the liquid. Wipe meat with paper towel. in a small bowl mix the 2Tbs flour salt and pepper and coat the meat on all sides. heat oil in pan and brown meat on all sides
---place browned meat in crock pot; add 1 1/2 cups of strained marinade. cook for 8 hrs on LOW. Combine sugar, remaining 2 Tbs of flour and ginger snap crumbs....add to slow cooker and stir well. cover and cook on HIGH 30 mins more.
I know it sound like a lot of work but its really easy and turns out very well

Re: Any Crock pot recipes that don't require...
I am not that elaborate in my crock pot recipes...
FOr sweet & sour kielbasa, I put equal aprts of ketchup and brown sugar in my crock pot, melt it togther, then add tinly sliced pieces of kielbasa, put it on high for abput 3 hours and boil up some pasta, thats our meal!
Or we will put equal pats grape jelly and chili sauce, melt it topgether (so its all one sauce) and add meatballs or kielbasa or mini cocktail franks...on high about 3 hours...YUM
My newest one is sticky wings, I mix a large bottle of soy sauce with about 2 cups of brown sugar, add my chicken wings, marinate them overnight or for 2-4 hours, then bake them in the oven, and then throw all that stuff, the sauve, baked chicken in the crock pot on low for about 4 hours, they get nice and brown and tender and delicious!!

Pork Roast:
1. whole pork roast 1 package (or 1 can) of sauerkraut drained granny smith apple chopped up 1 onion choppped (if you like onion) salt & pepper to taste 2 tablespoons of gravy master 1/4 cup brown sugar I just simply through everything in crock & cook until pork is falling apart!! Time depends on how large the roast is! Then I take the juices out & thicken in a pot on the stove by whisking in some flour to make a gravy! So easy!
I like to serve with mashed potatoes & a vegi!
