Sandals Question
Which Sandals is the least expensive resort? Danielle and I spent our honeymoon in St Lucia at the Grande St Lucian and we loved it, but we were looking for something that was all inclusive and a lot less money.Other than Sandals are there any other All Inclusive resorts that People recommend? It doesnt have to be in St Lucia...We are looking to go to other places too.
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Sandals Question
We LOVED Couples Swept Away in Negril. I know it was less expensive than the Sandals there, but we also liked the feel of it more...

Re: Sandals Question
Everyone seems to rave about Secrets in DR. There are actually many other all-inclusives in DR that are very affordable, they just may not be couples only.

Re: Sandals Question
Sandals Ocho Rios Jamacia was running 40% off when I booked it earlier in the year. Might be worth checking into.

Re: Sandals Question
I think Ocho Rios was one of the cheaper sandals, even without discount. Not sure if the prices went up since they've expanded it. But Jamaica in general was cheaper. But not in quality. It was a great place.

Re: Sandals Question
I am not sure which sandals is cheapest, but I am returning to the Grande for cheaper than I paid for my HM. I found some good all inclusive travel websites.FM me if you want details.

Agreed....we priced Secrets versus Sandals in the Bahamas and Secrets was considerably less expensive. The whole 'No children' thing was what we wanted!
I think Jamaica might be the least expensive since so many people go there.

Re: Sandals Question
Any of the Iberostar resorts are wonderful.Playa del carmen, cozomel, punta cana.
They are 6 star all inclusive resorts at a great price.
They are some of the most beautiful properties I have ever seen in my caribbean travels.

Re: Sandals Question
Don't forget that Sandals gives you a discount if you go again within about a year from your honeymoon. Maybe if you find the cheaper of the Sandals resorts and use the discount, you may find something you want.

You can become a sandals signature guest, and you will get a discount within a year of your hm...
You can also get a discount after your HM. For us it will be two years after, and they took 375 off the price. (My online travel agent did it), we are also getting an upgrade on our room. It is good for any sandals. Also, you get discounts each time out once you get a signature guest #.

Thank you for the info. Scott and I signed up for this about a week or two ago, but we weren't sure what the advantage was.

Re: Sandals Question
We've been back to Sandals 5 times different resorts and it really pays. They discounted our rate, gave us an upgrade to a suite and a welcome back dinner which had surf and turf, along with a cocktail party and you get to meet other returning Sandals guests. This year we wanted to go even less expensive and went to Mexico. It was about half the price. We went to Aventura Spa Palace. I heard all the Palace resorts were good, but this was the only adults only. We loved it.
