Some advice for you ladies still planning...
This is from the profile of JimmysBride...I thought it was HYSTERICALLY funny and wanted you guys to have a good chuckle:' Notes/About My Wedding:
About my wedding? Well - let's see... the BP consists of 7 BMs and 6 GMs, 2 FGs and 2 RBs. Yes... fun for me. Thankfully, none of them bother (read: help) me during the wedding planning. We'd like to have about 180 guests... but the guestlist is pushing 260 right now so THAT should be interesting... Catholic Church, Full Mass, etc etc... My ADVICE (thus far) to Brides: It's NEVER too soon to book your photographer or your makeup. If your Mom tells you she picked out her dress -- make sure you SEE IT before she orders it and you realize it's an ivory wedding gown. It's better to keep most of the details of the wedding to yourself (you can share with US though!) because everyone has a comment and or opinion and they usually are NOT helpful. Haggle everything. Add $1000 to each item in your budget. Go ahead, do it now. Begin panicking. Try on as many dresses as you can! You only get to this once. Bridesmaids are just for show. They won't really be your 'maids'. I tried... they mumbled something about 'slavery' and 'emancipation'..... You WILL fight alot more with FH. Pre-cana makes for some juicy ones. But then it gets better. Someone tell me what 'sex' is? Bride Brain [noun]: the sudden, intermittent, and inexplicable loss of memory that happens to brides when planning their wedding; sometimes includes loss of common sense; akin to airheadedness, ditziness, etc Example: JimmysBride must've had bride brain when she forgot she left her car in the Starbucks parking lot and it got towed while she walked back to work. More to come... I'm sure...'
too funny!!!
