New Year - New Do - I CUT MY HAIR!!! Finally updated with PICS!

Happy New Year everyone!! Ah, it's so nice to be back at work and typing away diligently here on LIW again!

Well,. I finally decided that I was going to start off 2005 with a new look and I had my hair colored and cut, and I LOVE it!! My natural color is a warm caramel blonde, and my hairdresser got it back perfectly! No pics yet, but my new color covered all the leftover highlights - but it still looks nice now bc they peek through just a bit, just darker blonde now instead of the brassy yellow it was turning into!! Hooray!! And she cut my hair into this really nice styled layered do - shorter around the face and longer in the back. I love it - and lost about 7 inches of my too-long hair!! DH actually likes it too, which suprised me since he loved my long hair. So much easier to maintain now and I love having a new look!! I'll have to post some pics once we take them

Anyone else with drastic New Year's changes?

ETA - Okay, there aren't the best pictures in the world

but here's some pics with my old and new hairstyle. This pic doesn't really look that great bc I took it myself after work when my hair was kinda done for the day - it looks much better when it's styled

Wow 7 inches! Thats a big change. I would love to see pics when you get them. My sister cut her hair 10 inches

a few months ago and donated it.
I don't think there will be any big changes in appearance for me this year!

Yeah, I have decided to cut my hair too. On the 16th I am going in under the scissors. I tell them to do whatever they think would look good. Havent missed yet. I like what theyve done. I have wavy shoulder lenght hair so not much can really be done.

I am also cutting my hair another inche or two i want my hair to be shoulder length its starting to grow again. but this year i am keeping it short.

I think my favorite part about my new shorter hair is how it only takes me 2 minutes to dry it! One of my coworkers said it made me look older too - so I guess now I look about 18 instead of 13?
