11/26 Glen Island Harbour Club Review....

Glen Island Harbour Club- A+
From the moment we got there everything was not only perfect but someone was always there making sure our every needs were fulfilled! The décor was amazing, they made our menus and followed every detail we requested. The food was unreal and people are still telling us how great it was and that drinks were not even emptied and someone was right there to fill them up. They made our wedding cake which was excellent also and decorated above and beyond of what we ever expected. I can honestly say that Glen Island was on top of everything and made our wedding day even more perfect then we could have ever expected.

Arcadia Floral- A-
They did a great job however a few things they did was not really what I expected. The good things they did included making additional bouts for the groom and a few extra for the guys or if we forgot anyone and they also wrapped my bo-k exactly how I wanted (I got it from www.filigreemonogram.com) The flower centerpieces were amazing and exactly how they looked in the sample but ever fresher. My flower girl baskets had no place to put the rose petals and were filled to the top w/ greens and flowers which I specifically told NO greens, but not that big of a deal in the scheme of things. The bo-k for the girls were beautiful and my bo-k was also gorgeous but some flowers did not hold for as long as they should have in my opinion. More importantly they were ahead of schedule with everything and I am sure that no one noticed they things that I did. All in all they did a great job and I would recommend them but to give more detailed directions then I did!

Kings Brass- A
They were @ both the ceremony and the reception. They did an excellent job and added such a nice touch to our day. They were a hit with all of our guests. I would def. Recommend.

Hair & Headpiece (Hairlooms)- B
My headpiece was perfect in every way. I tried on tons of them w/ a consultant and finally chose it. I got my veil and headpiece from Hairlooms as well myself and the BP hair was done there. The head piece and veil were excellent quality. I liked my hair but I don’t think it was 100% worth what they charged. The ambiance of the salon and the service was great!

Makeup- A
I used a woman (Dina Capone) that I met @ a bridal show. Her prices were great and our makeup looked great! She was very sweet and on time so I did not have to rush. The quality of the makeup she used was great and stayed on all day.

Dress (RK Bridal)- A
We got my dress & my BM’s dresses from there. My dress came in on time as did my BM. The alterations on all the dresses were great. They did any change I wanted to my dress w/ no questions and were very patient. The BM dresses were @ a much better price then anywhere else and I would highly recommend checking RK.

Jimmy Dee Music Productions- B
They played our must plays and stayed cleared of our do no plays. They had our guests dancing however they did not “wow” us as much as we were promised. Don’t get me wrong they did a good job just not fully up to our expectations. Also we paid extra for special lights that we totally worth it!! Even though I didn’t think it was our style it added a nice touch to the room and dance floor.

Duet- A+
They were they for every single moment. Alberto and Woo did they most amazing job and got pictures of things I didn’t even know they were there for. We got our proofs back 3 weeks to the day after the wedding. There are so many unbelievable shots. They just did they most amazing job that I cannot say enough about them! I would highly recommend them! Pictures will be posted as soon as possible I promise!

Silver Star Limos- A
Both limos were on time @ both locations and were both extremely clean! The drivers were courteous and took care of my especially at the church and held my dress until the moment I started to go down the aisle.

Cake topper & Wedding Programs (www.Whiteaisle.com) - A-
The only reason they have an A- is b/c there delivery took forever. However the quality of the products that I got from them were excellent. The programs were beautiful and so easy to put together. The cake topper was the perfect size and really added a nice touch to the cake.

Honeymoon (Sandals Grande St. Lucia)- A+++
This was by far the most amazing vacation I have ever been on. The resort was amazing (all 3 sandals on the island were). The food was really good and the people were sooo nice. Sandals was great and when we go away again to the Caribbean we will most def. be going to Sandals! Air Jamaica however I was not such a fan of (but that was only a small part of the honeymoon that it didn’t even matter).

We had a swim up lagoon room! You are going to have so much fun!!! Sandals is amazing!! No matter what room you have they are all sooo similar, the only real difference is the closed off bedroom and the concierge svcs have a stocked bar and the reg. rooms only have soda and water and stuff!! Have fun there is so much to do!!!

Fairylise, I was reading your review and then when you said you went to Sandals St. Lucia for your HM I looked at your pic b/c me and DH went there for ours. Can I tell you that we had a conversation there????

We met waiting for the Sandals bus to take us to the other hotels to have dinner.

OMG-- how funny!! I also met another LIWeddings girl (chicagogal) there and we actually had lunch in the airport together! That is so funny- I can't believe that it is such a small world!!!

It is a small world- espcially when it comes to Sandals.... I have been to three of them and at 2 of them I have met people I know..

We actually met some-1 I currently work with and hung out with them... we didn't realize it until a few weeks ag- we have pics together and everything!
