Is your FH taking the day(s) before the wedding off??

My fh is really busy at work. He has been working insane hours the last few weeks. His boss asked him today if Sat. February 19th ( the day before our wedding) if he will be working.

He didnt know what to say and called me to ask... lol but I didnt know what to tell him.

I figure any last min. stuff I will be doing anyway, and he will already have his suit and haircut and whatever else...

Is anyone elses fi working the day before the wedding?

No, but our situation is different, we live in Virginia. I would say that if he could take the day off, he may really want to. There are going to be so many last minute things/ running around/ family coming into town that he deserves a day off!

I think he is taking off 2 days before.

We just discussed this last night and the conversation ended abruptly when his response to my 'How many days are you going to take off the week of the wedding?' and he just stared at me blankly, like 'I have to take time off?'. I'd say since we're getting married on Sunday night, he probably won't take off Friday but obviously he'll take off Monday. We're not leaving on our honeymoon until June so it may just be that one day for him.

He is taking the day off before - for the rehersal dinner, haircut, etc.

FH is a teacher and will be off for the entire summer when we get married...I hate him during the months of July and August!!!

He's taking off the day before, and I'm taking 2 or 3 days before

As of this moment, he isn't. But then I am working a 1/2 day (going in early at 6am, leaving at 12pm) the day before. Am I nuts?

We are getting married on sunday and FH is taking thursday and friday off.

Nope. He's working until that Thursday before. My last will be that Wednesday.

Fh is taking off the day b4.....its better off, Maxine, let him relax that day, so he doesn't look so tired the day off....let him get his beauty rest....

and if he decides to work then i hope its a very short day and hes home by noon.

I would tell him that he can't cause it is the day before that wedding and there is alot of stuff to be done. I told my fh that he has to take that friday and saturday off he is a budy worker right now he working weird hours to

My FH is taking the whole week-his choice. It's funny bc I told him he doesn't need to take that many days off but he wants to since he gets so many vacation days through his job.

He is not taking any days off from work, but our wedding is on sunday and he will be off an saturday. He has to spend time with some out of town family coming in.

I'd be SHOCKED if my fiancee took off more than the day of our wedding off. We're getting married on the Friday his classes officially end--he may end up grading papers on our wedding night!

My FH wants to take off a WEEK before the wedding, I was like what is wrong with you, I didn't know he had soooo much to do before the wedding...and then we're leaving for the honeymoon two days after the wedding for two weeks..he has the days and they are letting him take that week off, but WHY....we'll see, he agrees that he doesn't think he needs the entire week..so probably 3 days

Since we need to fly to NY, my FH is only coming in on Thursday night. I am really worried about getting the marriage license on time. We are going to have to get there when they are first opened and have everything in order so it processes before 3pm(24 hours before the wedding).
I have the summer off( I know, lucky me) so I am flying in on June 23 for my shower. I was going to stay until the wedding but I wouldn't see my FH for three weeks!!!! Too scary right before the wedding so I will have to fly home for a week and then come in the week before.

The day before my wedding is Thanksgiving and we are planning to take off of work Wednesday also.

Shawn doesnt want to take off, he feels there will be nothing for him to do wedding wise but, I think it's a good idea cause our wedding is saturday am
