Living situation after the wedding

Just wondering where everyone will be living after they get married...

FH & I are currently house hunting in Wantagh (Mandalay Bay), Seaford (Hidden Harbor) & South Bellmore...We hope to be in our new house by this summer

Just kidding! I figure this summer/fall we will look for an apartment here in Brooklyn...at least for the beginning of our marriage and then who knows where life will take us!

We always say a big card board box in Walmart parking lot hahahaha

But who knows.. we will start looking this summer.

Nice! FH and I have been living together for a while (in Queens). I really love it here, but after the wedding we'll start looking for a house.

We live together now in Huntington Station (we own it). Sometime a year or so after the wedding we'll look to move into a bigger house, probably in Smithtown or somewhere a bit further east.

We are going to start looking in September, gonna do the apartment thing for maybe about 2-3 years...dont want a house yet!!

We'll be living on base or near the base in Connecticut. It's about one hour from Hartford.

anywhere, as long as we are by ourselves that is my goal not to live at either of our homes with our parents. we hope to purchase a house by the time our wedding comes along. i think this maybe impossible though. LI is so expensive and we want to stay in nassau county because he works in garden city park and i work in the city.

Me and FH are moving to PA, where we are building our home. It should be finished by April 0f 06. Hopefully just in time for the wedding. If not we have a rental house in the Poconos we will stay at until the house is finished.

It's ok - I love being a NY'er but I LOVE my Fi more (can you tell that I am a PR person? Nice PC answer)...

It'll be ok and I hope to have a pretty house. We are going to look this summer because I can't stand being this far away from him for much longer.

Bathroom would be nice, I'm not picky!!

Geez I just want a cute little thing at first. Nothing too extreme. Not like we could afford anything else anyway. (A little dinky house will probably still be over 270K in Suffolk)

We're looking at condos and co-ops too. In the Holbrook/Ronkonkoma area.

Im with you maybe sooner

with the way the inlaws are. Right now we live with his parents and thought it would be great to save for a wedding and for our own place but with all the problems one might have to go, but I hope not. I think Im gonna have to find a way to go to school and get a part time job.
