i'm really eclectic and like tons of different music and artists and bands.

my all time faves are:

*olivia newton-john* (her voice and lyrics..even though she didnt write most of them!)
*pearl jam* (great band, but i love ed vedders lyrics as well)

My all time favorite artist is Billy Joel

I also love Elton John, Bon Jovi, Barenaked Ladies and Counting Crows.

My music collection is very eclectic and contains everything from Bette Midler to Metallica.

ETA: I have a huge collection of showtunes as well!

Regular music, I LOVE Nirvana, always have since I was a kid. I always feel so upset when I think about Kurt Cobain

I love SO many kinds of music from the 1940's through today.
I'm a HUGE 80's fan, I love jazz, swing, pretty much everything BUT Country.
If I HAD to choose one artist it would probably be Billie Holiday.

80's music is awesome!!!

I simply do not have a favorite artist though.. my tastes run such a crazy wide spectrum that i couldn't even begin to narrow it down

i was very into hair /metal bands though .. BonJovi, Motley Crew, Poison, Whitesnake.. then Metallica.. then i went thru a dance music phase in the 90s.. even liked the boy bands for awhile () .. Pearl Jam is awesome, and Nirvana were ahead of their time (I appreciate Nirvana so much more now , unfortunately)

My mainstays - people or artists that I can ALWAYS listen to -- are Billy Joel, Sting, Dave Matthews, Eagles, Earth Wind Fire ..

Duran Duran was on monday's Vegas episode. I missed it though. I still like duran duran and most 80's music. Depeche mode is probably my favorite from that era.
