please post pics of your program - or sample
I am convinced I must do programs and need ideas.
A bride today (Glen Island Harbour Club) had nice ones with some kind of gold edged paper and tassels. I did not attend the wedding but my hair stylist helped to fold the programs last night. She did not keep one so I have no pic.
I want to use some kind of vellum cover (translucent or opaque - not sure) or maybe cardstock?
I am also thinking of a booklet type program cardstock or vellum outside and bond inside but am concerned about how to tie them (and with what). I have to put in info about FI's deceased mom and the reading (dove release). as well as bridal party info and thank you's.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: please post pics of your program - or sample
Hmmm. Nobody has a sample?
I spent the day looking at paper in Manhattan and bought a lot of paper samples.
Well, I will post mine.....just finished it.
I had no purple satin ribbon in the house (since I didn't think I'd need to bind a folded program) so I used red. Unbinded it slips apart easily.
For those with booklet programs, what are you doing about the blank pages in between?
I am thinking I should glue them together? or cut the interior pages and bind it as 4 pages with blanks all on the back (not in between)?

Wow, you did it already? Nice ring shot.
Hey, I like the program but the only advice that I offer is to center your names on the cover.
ETA: Oh i see in the second pic that it is centered. nICE

Yeah, it's really sparkly in al sorts of light.
I made a sample today and it's 4 pages. I'll post the other pics. The front is vellum with only our names & the info (viewable through the vellum) is on page one.
I printed on both sides now - fed it back through the printer.
pretty easy. I figure I can make 100 programs for under $50 with vellum and bond paper (plus some ribbon).
