Hi everybody,
Does anybody know if there is a way to get free passes to the Great Bridal Expo on January 22 at the Marriot in Uniondale? Thanks!

i believe the great bridal expo costs about 7.00. i went to the one in the city a few months ago.

how was the one in the city is it worth it to go to the one in uniondale

I just went to the one in uniondale today and I've been there once before. It all depends it's sort of hit or miss.

Pros- you can get a lot of free bridal magazines and info pamphlets from a variety of vendors
it's a LOT of DJ's and bands, fewer of the other vendors
you can win prizes
It gives you an opportunity to look at a vendor's work, esp flowers, photo and video and decide if you like their work without having to go into the office/studio, etc
Cons:
It can be very overwhelming
Some vendors are very high pressure and try to offer you all of these 'book now' deals.
Other vendors don't spend a lot of time on you, and I often walk away feeling kind of turned off and ignored.
You get a LOT of phone calls afterward

I got a pass in the mail. Call 1-800-422-3976 ext. 1 to find out about free passes.
I am going to check it out. Especially since it is free!

I just called & I think you need to have received the postcard in order to get in for free. They asked me for the promo code & told me to bring the card to the door.
