Anyone ever buy anything from Ebay?

I just bid on a pashmina. My first time using this site. Is the quality good for such reasonable prices? How do they notify me if I won?

i have bought soooo much on ebay.. first things first, before you bid, read the fine print. sometimes things are used, so make sure you are okay with that, nib means new in box, check out the shipping b/c some sellers make a fortune on shipping , and check out the sellers rating. try not to bid on anything from a seller whose rating is less than 98.5%. check out the feedback on a seller and also, make sure that you are getting a good deal by seeing what other sellers are selling it for. have fun!

I buy things from Ebay ALL the time. Sometimes it's your best bet to get the cheapest prices. One thing I always check before I bid on something though, is the seller's feedback; I make sure they have a lot of feedback and that is mostly, if not all, positive feedback. If they have good feedback, it's a rarity to have a problem. You will be notified via e-mail if you've either won, or you've been outbid by someone else.
