registry ideas

ok ladies, need some ideas.

Right now, FH and I are only registered at fortunoffs. There isn't a ton of stuff on there because I don't know what else I could possibly register for!

1 -I really need ideas for what else to register for

2 - what other stores would you recommend me registering at? someplace different than a fortunoffs or a BBB maybe...

* FH is also planning to register at home depot

Re: registry ideas

I had a horrible experience with being registered at Fortunoff's...they had the poorest customer service I had ever experienced.

I registered at Linen's Things and found them MUCH easier to deal with!

Re: registry ideas

I registered at William Sonoma because I love to cook! You can register anywhere you want to... taget, Home Depot, Lowes, Kohls, etc..

Re: registry ideas

I'd recommend Bed Bath and Beyond. If you return anything or get doubles, they give you cash back if the item is on your registry. No receipt required!! I would be careful with Target, though. Their return/exchange policy is horrible!!!

Re: registry ideas

laura, we registerd at macys (like your fortunoff's) and william sonoma. i really just went for all the pieces of china, lots of neat kitchen elctronics, and nice glasses. we didn't need any pans, beddings, towels, or furniture, but went for a concentrated list of nice dishes and serveware. i also picked out a really nice set of luggage at macys.

Re: registry ideas

So far we registered at Macy's. When we went to Macy's they give us a check list of all things that we should register for. It really gives you a good idea of what you should get.

Re: registry ideas

I did BBB and Bloomies.
BB has a great return policy and they sell everything! We got our china from them.
I also like Crate and Barrell and Williams Sonoma.

Re: registry ideas

I registered at Fortunoff's, C & B, and Bed, Bath and Beyond. As for registry suggestions, here's a few things that I registered for and got that are great:

600 thread count hotel sheets from BB&B - they are sooooooo soft and wonderful!

Luxe towels from Fortunoff - also soft and very fluffy!

everyday china, glasses, and silverware w/ serving pieces

coffeemaker

feather mattress and mattress pad to prevent feathers from sticking us!

new pillows

bakeware, mixing bowls, etc

electric thermometer and timer - this thing is great you select the type of meat and how you want it cooked and it beeps when it is done! No more overdone steaks!

Henckels knives

dish rack

wine cooler

Those were my favorite gifts, hope it helps!
