Anyone getting married at Swan Club or Thatched Cottage??
My newly engaged friend is in LOVE with both these places. They havent decided what time of year but maybe next spring.Anyway can you girls post or FM me what you are paying and what time of year and day of week you are getting married?
She is on a very tight budget and wants to make sure she can afford it before she falls more in love
TIA

Re: Anyone getting married at Swan Club or Thatched Cottage??
I paid $55 pp before tax and gratuity for a Sunday night in November. I was very happy with them and many of my guests told me what a great party it was. I would definitely book there again.I forgot to mention...it seemed that the only thing they did not include was centerpieces for the tables, but the next lowest price was $4 pp higher, so we didn't let that be the deciding factor.

If she picks the Thatched Cottage, ask her to request Lindsay as her bridal attendant. She's my cousin and is great!! And a BM in my wedding!!

Re: Anyone getting married at Swan Club or Thatched Cottage??
It really depends on your minimum number of guests. We are getting married on a Friday night during July, also, but we are lower than 90pp. I think 75pp. This is probably because our minimum in 175 people. Oh, and we booked in Feb '04. They can give her info over the phone.

Re: Anyone getting married at Swan Club or Thatched Cottage??
Ours was $90pp on a Saturday night (October 30) and we had to guarantee 150.They did an AMAZING job. Lindsay was my attendant, the food was unbelieveable and they handled everything really professionally.
People are still raving.
I'd be happy to share more details if she needs them. Feel free to FM me.

No pink in my room (Contessa Room), but it is the smallest, with a max of 140.

Re: Anyone getting married at Swan Club or Thatched Cottage??
For April 06, we got a quote of 60pp for Saturday afternoon, 80pp for Saturday night, 55pp for Friday night (i think) or 50pp for Sunday afternoon. We are still in the process of looking, but I really liked Swan Club. We would also be using the smaller room if we booked :)Welcome New Vendors
