one person in one hundred will get pregnant on the pill even when used accurately--there's not telling if you don't follow it strictly (ie, skip days, etc...)

I don't know HOW likely it is but I know I got pregnant on the pill. I'll tell ya this... I'll be seriously looking into other forms of BCP after this is pg over!

Don't want to scare you Jess, but my sister's last 2 babies (my beautiful niece and her gorgeous little brother) were both conceived while she was ON the pill. Now, my sister's anal about things and told me she was taking the pills at the same time everyday, not missing a pill, etc. and it still happened to her - back to back! She does the shot now, I think. However, I've been on BCP for like 6 years and thankfully, no babies. So I don't know.

i have been having this same thought....although i dont really think i am, i feel like i have heard it a bunch lately about people who have...and i have to be honest, it freaks me out...FH and i are SO not ready to have kids yet...but i mean if it happened...

AHHH now i am freaking myself out again...

Could you get pregnant maybe while taking the placebos? My GYN said you could pretty much get pregnant as soon as you stop taking them... I would think that might include the white pills too since really they are only sugar...

It definitely can happen but the statistics are true..it is 99% effective when used at 100% accuracy (taking same time every day and not missing pills). Its actually very very rare to conceive while on the placebos because of where you are on your cycle...if you get pg while on the pill it is simply because one out of every say 1000 women will ovulate when you aren't supposed to...even with perfect use. but still is rare..

I read up on this a while back when i thought i may be PG...stress caused me not to get my period...hope this helps. :)

well, i have kinda broken out and my belly is a bit bigger.....
but the zits could be from stress of everything, and the belly could be form me eating nothing but bagels and pizza everyday!

its not as big as it was the other day, so thats good....

i always get salt bagels with extra butter.... FI said maybe im retaining water form so much salt.

i'm such nervous b/c when i was pregnant before the same thing happened to me, zits, belly... i doubt it though. if i am i hpope my belly stays tiny for the wedding

He could be right- the butter has salt too.
If you are pregnant, you shouldn't show too much before the wedding.
