Which save the date magnet do you like better?

I just got engaged and am planning a wedding in 7 1/2 months.. I didnt send out engagement cards or anything. Should I skip the 'save the date magnets?' When do normal invitations go out?

They are .90 each and include envelopes.. but then theres the additional money for stamps too.

In my opinion, I would save the money and just focus on the invites. Both are cute but soon you will be ordering the invites and putting them together. JMO

I like the calendar feature on number 2, but don't like that the wording covers the picture. The way #1 is set up looks much neater. You don't have to send out save the dates - they're mostly done a year in advance to let your guests know, especially if you're lots of out of towners, about your date. Otherwise, save the $ (I'm sure it can go towards other things) and just let everyone know through word of mouth.

The invites generally go out 8 weeks before the wedding date...

I did that SAME saying on our Engagment party cards! Everyone loved the saying!!!!

I like #1 better.
I hate to be annoying, and please don't be offended, but I'm really anal about grammar!

I think the 'w' in 'will you be my wife' should be capitalized and after 'she said' there should be a comma, not a period.

I like #1, but your wedding is really soon, you''re supposed to send invites about 8 weeks in advance, so you'd be sending them at the end of march.. so you might want to save money.. JMO.
I think the bride's name is supposed to come first too.

If I send out invites 8 weeks before the wedding I would be sending them at the end of June right? I decided not to anyway just to save $$.
