PICS and UPDATE: We found a new mate for our owl finch
I'm so happy, we finally found a female owl finch for our widower male.
Here they are in their new nest together!
He doesn't leave her side 
She's the one that is lower in the pics...he stands up very tall around her, and she is smaller.

I have the Canon EOS Digital Rebel.
The second pic I totally messed up the cropping and I had to fix the color..so I destroyed it myself, it wasn't the camera.

Pretty easy...I have them in a large flight cage with some other finches (Gouldian Finches).
