Another bad experience at After Hours in RF.

We tried for a second time to get some ifo on the tuxedos at after hours in the Roosevelt Field Mall. I don't know what it is about us be each time we have gone in there, we have been ignored.

This time we filled out the paperwork for our bridal party. Gary went to talk to the guy and pick a tux for himself. The idiot didn't even want to help us. We the 'manager' told him to help us, he says to her 'why do I always to have to do this?' Um, hello, its your job idiot!!!

So Gary is asking him questions and the guy doesn't know anything. He cannot add-he keeps telling Gary that the cheap suit plus the accessories package is $145 and that the Tommy Hilfiger suit with the package is $150. Gary is like 'wait, how is that possible?' Well it wasn't possible.

The cheapest tux they had is $69, the accessories package is $40. So together that adds up to $109 plus tax and that equals $118. The Tommy Hilfiger suit was $105 plus the package $40 plus tax equals $157. When I pointed it out to the guy, he was like, that's about right. He was making up prices in his head. So I was talking to Gary to se which one he wanted and the guy walks away from us to chat with the other guy. Gary says to me he doesn't want toget the suit here because the people are idiots, so we take our form and leave.

We come back a few minutes later to get a store listing, hoping that there is another AF within reach. I just tell the manager (a different one is there now) that we think this store is too far for us to travel for a tuxedo. One of the idiots asked me where we are from and I tell him Ridgewood. I swear he started yelling 'Ridgewood in the house'. The manager kind of laughed it off and said 'wht a goofball'. Gary and I looked at each other and ran out of there.

So the point to this story is that that store is staffed by very unprofessional, unhelpful people. They don't understand their job, they have horrible customer service and we will not be getting the tuxedo from After Hours. Maybe another store would have better sevice, but we have a bad taste in our mouths from the 2 bad experience there.

so sorry to hear that, my FI is getting his and the bridal party suits from Dante-Zeller tuxedos, so far we only have good things to say about them, and they do try on's, you can pick a suit and they will get it in your measurements and you can try it on to see if you like the cut and style before you decide which one is right for you and you can do that as many times as you want I think its to diff suits, jacket, tie etc at a time

Gary has had good previous experiences with Flowerama in Glendale (which is only about 6 blocks from our house), so he is going to get the tuxedos from there. I have a $50 off coupon for each tuxedo at After Hours and that's why we were going to get them there. Our bridal party is poor and wanted to get them the least expensive suits possible, but we don't want them t have bad experiences so screw it.

I totally understand We tried to find the best deals also and We had a bad experience with AF and that is why we didnt go with them either, but at Zellers we got everthing for 109 plus tax

We're also probably going with Zellers and you can get discount coupons for them too. Search online, I know we recently gt something in the mail. They carry Hilfiger too, I believe.

Sorry you had such a horrible experience . Also, if Flowerama is so close you might as well try them, I'm sure they'll help you out.
