Did you book your honeymoon online or at a travel agency?
Will I be able to find better deals myself? Do travel agencies charge to book through them? TIA

We also booked through our travel agency. We did a bit of searching online to make sure we were getting the right price and also a good deal and we really got a good deal. One of my friend's mom works at a travel agency and she could not match up the deal we got. She said we got a very good price. We booked our HM at Liberty Travels.

Re: Did you book your honeymoon online or at a travel agency?
I did TONS of research online (mainly lived on TripAdvisor ) and then I booked with an e-based travel agent. She was able to save me over $1K on my HM. And e-based companies typically have a price match/beat policy, so if you get a lower quote (which I did from discount-all-inclusive ) , they'll beat it. I cannot recommend her enough! Hayley at Beach Bum Vacation . And she beats prices frm land based TA too, as long as you havea tangible and real quote.Good luck and feel free to FM me if you have any

We booked it online. It was cheaper than the quotes we received from a few different travel agents.

We booked with a travel agency (John from MAS Travel--a vendor on this site) and they got us a MUCH better deal than we could've gotten for ourselves. The hotel we wanted wasn't even showing any available rooms on any of the travel websites, but he got us into a junior suite for 11 days!!

I second Hayley. She gave us an amazing deal for our honeymoon to Sandals Royal Bahamian. She was a joy to work with!

We did alot of research online so guarantee a good price and finally booked with MSW Travel. Not being familiar at all with French Polynesia, we were concerned about booking ourselves or with an online agency.Welcome New Vendors
